1. Trials
Trials cost nothing and need no payment details, so there is nothing to refund. When a trial ends the workspace becomes read-only — records stay intact and exportable — until a plan is chosen or the account is closed.
2. Cancelling
An institution administrator can cancel from the workspace, or by writing to support@aiutil.in from a registered administrator address. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless you ask for it to be immediate.
3. What is refunded

Refunds go back to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of approval.
4. Downgrades
Moving to a cheaper plan takes effect immediately and the unused balance is credited against future invoices rather than refunded, unless you ask otherwise. If the new plan's limits are below your current enrolment, we will tell you before the change so records are never dropped to fit a limit.
5. If we fail
If the platform is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours through our fault, write to us and we will credit the affected days. If an outage during an examination or admission window causes material disruption, tell us what happened — we would rather settle it fairly than argue over a clause.
6. Your data afterwards
Cancelling does not delete anything immediately. Records stay exportable for 30 days after the account closes, then are deleted from live systems. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.
7. How to ask
Email support@aiutil.in with the institution name and the invoice reference. We acknowledge within two working days and decide within seven.
