1. Do not attack the platform
- No probing, scanning or penetration testing without written permission — see the security page for how to get it.
- No attempt to reach another institution's data, or to escalate a role beyond what was granted.
- No automated traffic that degrades service for others; no scraping the directory in bulk.
- No uploading malware, or content designed to execute in another user's browser.
2. Do not misuse the data
- Record only what the institution has a lawful basis to record, and only about its own community.
- Do not export student or staff records to sell, market with, or pass to anyone outside the institution's lawful purpose.
- Do not use the platform to profile, rank or shame individual students beyond ordinary academic assessment.
- Do not enter special-category data — health conditions, caste, religion, biometric identifiers — into free-text fields. The platform is not designed to hold it.
3. What may be published
A school's public page, gallery, events and written sections must not contain:
- Photographs of identifiable students without the consent the institution's own law requires.
- Any student's name paired with a mark, a rank, an attendance figure or a disciplinary note.
- Contact details of a student or guardian.
- Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory or sexually explicit.
- Images or text the institution does not hold the rights to.
- Claims about accreditation, affiliation, results or rankings that the institution cannot evidence.
4. Accounts
- One person, one account. Shared logins defeat the audit trail and are not permitted.
- Remove access the day someone leaves the institution.
- Do not register an institution you are not authorised to represent.
5. Reporting abuse
If you see a public page that breaks these rules — a named student's marks, an unconsented photograph, a false claim — write to support@aiutil.in with the page address. Reports about a child's personal data are triaged first and acted on the same working day where we can.
6. How we enforce this
Most problems are a misunderstanding and end with an email and a correction. Where content exposes an individual, we take it down first and explain afterwards. Repeated or deliberate breaches lead to suspension under section 9 of the terms of service, without refund.
